The Shoin International Learning Center (SILC) is a facility that supports international students in their student life. Whenever you come to the university, stop by the SILC to check your personal letter case and get in touch with the staff. If you need help with anything on a day-to-day basis, you can consult with the SILC staff and feel at ease about your student life.

You can make many friends by spending free time at this facility during and after school, and by participating in fun events with Japanese students. You can freely participate in Japanese language classes and calligraphy classes for international students.

Many students use the facilities for a range of goals. Students interested in studying abroad, students interested in international exchange, students interested in foreign languages, students who want to study for English language qualifications, students who want to enjoy English conversation, and many others enjoy spending time at this facility. International students are encouraged to make good use of these facilities and enjoy their university life.

We also organise meetups with international students from different countries!

SILC holds regular meetups where fellow international students can get together. Here, you can discuss any worries or anxieties you may have about life in Japan with other students. We provide a variety of support so that you can live university life with peace of mind.
